Our yoga teachers

Ailon has explored a diverse range of yoga styles over the last 25 years. He began studying yoga at university and then went on to study intensively in India. His classes skilfully weave together the precision of Iyengar Yoga, the breath-movement synchronisation of Vinyasa yoga, the dropping into postures found in Scaravelli yoga and he does this with warmth and fun, ensuring everyone is well looked after and that all abilities are catered for. From Ailon’s classes, students will discover how a yoga practice can be experienced as a moving meditation. They will also learn how yoga can structurally re-align the body, calm the mind, and allow access to greater energy sources.

As a teacher, Ailon has always sought to bring yoga out into the wider world. He set up The Lotus Exchange, London’s first corporate yoga service in 2001; developed a yoga for athletes programme for England footballers and cricketers in 2003, and taught remedial yoga in Harley Street from 2002 to 2008. When not teaching yoga, Ailon runs high-energy African drumming workshops and also performs on the London comedy circuit, so it promises to be a fun filled week. He’s an engaging and warm teacher, who will ensure everyone is well looked after throughout the week.
