Situated on the dramatic coastline of Northern Portugal on the wide, sandy beach of Cabedelo Beach, FeelViana is a cool and calm oasis for those seeking a wellness holiday with a bit of an edge. As soon as you arrive, the friendly team welcome you to feel at home. In the lobby there are plenty of comfy sofas which encourage to rest whilst enjoying the blue skies through the large windows. Relax here or on the terrace whilst reading before strolling down the broadwalk to the magnificent golden sand beach and you’ll soon feel like you’ve escaped to a special place.
Guests can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast in the morning with plenty of healthy options to choose from. Traditional Portuguese dishes can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner, with plenty of fresh fish to try. The chefs passion for quality ingredients and deep, delicious flavours combine to create wonderful dishes that will leave you craving your next meal there. The dining area is relaxed and flooded with sunshine from the floor to ceiling windows that can open up during the summer months. For a lighter lunch there is always the surf shack down on the beach as well.
For those looking to explore the local area, the nearest city of Viana de Castelo is about a 10 minute taxi drive away where you can visit local restaurants.
Group yoga sessions are scheduled daily in the spa studio. Like the rest of the hotel the yoga room is minimalist and created with natural materials, think wooden walls and skylights that flood the room with natural light. All yoga equipment is provided so there is no need for you to bring anything with you.
This area of the hotel is a quiet and tranquil space so you can fully switch off and focus on the session. They have a few resident yoga teachers that offer different styles. From time to time the schedule may change so we recommend asking for this at check in.
The hotel has a few accommodation options but when possible we’d always recommend staying in a seaside view room. From these spacious rooms you can enjoy views out to the pine forest with the ocean beyond whilst relaxing on your private balcony. Where ever you stay here, comfort and calm is the focus- the large and comfy beds ensure deep sleep so you awake feeling rested and refreshed.
As well as the yoga, FeelViana offers a wide variety of sports. Biking, Hiking and water sports are all fantastic additions for those seeking adventure and in Northern Portugal you’re in the perfect place to explore the breathtaking mountains and harness the oceans energy to enjoy a wide variety of activities, all in the safe hands of their experienced instructors.
You’ll also have access to the cosy little spa, with indoor plunge pool, sauna and steam room it’s the best way to relax after a mornings activity. Indulgent spa treatments can also be booked and we’d highly recommend a massage or facial to help you restore before returning home!
