Nestled in the mountains North of Marbella lies Shanti Som, a wonderful boutique wellness hotel, offering a fantastic yoga programme led by their two resident teachers. The invitingly small hotel, with only 15 bedrooms offers a tranquil environment for you relax and restore whilst away on holiday! The decor is South East Asia inspired and helps you feel far away from the world back home!
In between yoga classes guests can unwind with an indulgent spa treatment, swim in the heated pool, or hang out with fellow travelers in the comfy lobby area or on the outdoor terrace enjoying the sunshine! This unique hotel is also a fantastic place to stay during the winter months with a cosy central log fire and location in the hills you can really feel like your retreating away to have some ‘you time’.

At Shanti Som in the warmer months guests can enjoy an invigorating yoga session outdoors in their beautiful, open yoga shala with mountain views, or inside you can descend from the hotel to the calm of the spa to find the hidden yoga studio with Asian inspired décor and pretty garden views. In the corner guests can find a small alter for those wanting to dedicate their practice or set an intention for the session. This yoga space is a must experience for those wanting an authentic yoga retreat without travelling too far from the UK.
All equipment is provided so there is no need to bring your own.
As soon as you walk through the doors of Shanti Som, you’re transported to another continent. Luxurious and decorated with dutiful care and attention, Shanti Som is stylish, tasteful and elegant with high beamed ceilings and exposed thatched roofs. Each of the bedrooms are supremely comfortable, and all with stunning en suite shower rooms.
All rooms offer a private balcony or terrace so you have your own space to spend time relaxing outdoors. If you’d like to make this trip even more special we can also organise you to upgrade to one of the larger suites!
