Last week I was in the beautiful, serene retreat at Rosa Dei 4 Venti. The accommodation, fantastic alkaline food, welcoming hosts and all the staff, lovely yoga studio and amazing grounds were all pleasure. The walks were enchanting as were the truilli stone buildings. But most of all the luck we had in having a great group of 13 yogi and yoginis. Most of all we had an inspirational teacher. Heather Elton was, passionate, knowledgeable, caring, creative (she helped us all to achieve varying degrees of a pose), firmly encouraging and fun. Also her knowledge of yoga, physiology and yoga history was more than any of us imagined; we were exposed to so many things. In short it was special.
