Just returned from Destination Yoga retreat with gentle Jivamukti teachers Nick Cervonaro and Pashenka Gribbin in Umbria, Italy. Beautiful location and weather, friendly and responsive family-run business with lovely swimming pool and spa with talented massage therapists. Recommend for a week away from it all with like-minded spirits in a unique location – relaxed and worked out the knots and kinks in anticipation of autumn … will miss Italian-style communal meals (veggie and non as you prefer) with good local wine list if you’re not going dry – among solid company – and twice daily practice: dynamic and flowing vinyasa Jivamukti-style and restorative. Learned a bit of Italian as well! [Only drawback was a few dogs in a kennel nearby that got set off barking one night – presumably by a werewolf under the full blue moon! Earplugs good to bring just in case ;).] Hari Om Ciao Ciao
